Assassin’s Creed will return once again in 2012
Just a month before Assassin’s Creed: Revelations is released, lead creative developer for the game, Alexandre Amacio, has announced that there will be another installment released in 2012. Game developer Ubisoft have put out a new chapter of Assassin’s Creed every year since the initial release in 2007, and it seems that they have no plans on stopping this trend next year. Amacio said, “In Assassin’s Creed, we set up a timeline with this whole end of the world plot of December 2012. That’s fast approaching, and the story we have to tell, we obviously need to do it before we arrive at that point.” The series has won plenty of awards for its third person historical/sci-fi action adventure innovation, so fans of the game can have faith that the creators can come up with a special new installment even if they will be pressed for time. In the meantime, look for Assassin’s Creed: Revelations to be released on November 5th on XBOX 360, and Playstation 3. The game features all three of the series’ previous protagonists, and we can expect plenty of new historical and futuristic twists to take place.
